Florida's residents and tourists can soon enjoy a day of license-free saltwater fishing.
Gov. Rick Scott says he hopes families can get out and enjoy ``Florida's incredible saltwater fishing opportunities'' on Sept. 1.
The state's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission offered a similar saltwater fishing opportunity on June 1. The agency also offered license-free freshwater fishing days on April 13 and June 8.
During a meeting in Pensacola on Sept. 5, the agency will consider adding four more license-free fishing days to this year's calendar.
During license-free fishing days, all other rules and regulations, including bag limits, seasons and size restrictions, apply.
