Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for January 11th:

Bottom Line: These are the daily doses of nonsense in the media and my hot takes on them...

Excerpt: Lured by the charm of little Havana or the glamour of South Beach, some 15 million tourists visit Miami every year.

But for a growing number of Russian women, the draw isn't sunny beaches or pulsing nightclubs. It's U.S. citizenship for their newborn children.

In Moscow, it's a status symbol to have a Miami-born baby, and social media is full of Russian women boasting of their little americantsy.

Hot Take: Just when you think that you're in the know about things you learn that there's a South Beach baby craze in Russia. What's more is that the most popular places for these mothers of Americans to be...Trump resorts. You can't make this stuff up. There's a very real underlying issue that's in the mist of heavy political debate right now - and no - it's whether a Miami baby is cooler than one born in Hollywood (at least not that I know of), it's chain migration. This is a classic example of why many Americans and the President are leery of it. According to the most recent accredited polling from Pulse Opinion Research 57% of Americans oppose chain migration compared to just 30% in favor of it. I wouldn't imagine those numbers would improve with increased awareness of "birth tourism".

Hot Take: CNN just can't help themselves. Faced with the realization that they must acknowledge the best economic conditions in well over a decade, they begrudgingly cave in ... for now. I wonder if there really are "journalists" that sit around rooting for the economy to suffer because they don't want the Trump administration to be successful. Especially when it's demonstrating just how ineffectual the beloved Obama was.

Hot Take: Whew, I'm glad we cleared that one up. Btw, I didn't realize that the enjoyment level of sex was potentially part of this harassment thing but I'm glad it's been addressed. Btw, this reminds me once again how happy I am to be happily married. You're welcome to say me too.

Until tomorrow...
