Hot – Parkland Shooter’s Brother Given Hefty Bond

18-year old Zachary Cruz, the brother of accused Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz, was granted $500,000 bond by a judge yesterday for allegedly trespassing on the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.  He said he wanted to “soak in” the shooting in which his brother is charged.  Zachary was reportedly able to get by a sleeping Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy to gain access to the campus this week.  The same judge has ordered authorities to search the suburban Lantana mobile home where Cruz has been staying, by using a “Red Flag Protection” order as part of a new state law.  This is part of the mental health portion of the law just passed in the wake of the Parkland shooting, which allows authorities to take guns away from people posing a potential risk.
