‘Look right into my soul,’ Florida politician said. But he was lying, ethics board alleges - Miami Herald
Excerpt: Michael Grieco, a former Miami Beach commissioner and current candidate for Florida’s House of Representatives, was lying to the public when he denied involvement in a campaign fundraising operation last year and beseeched Miami Herald reporters to “look right into [his] soul” for the truth, the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics & Public Trust alleged Wednesday.
In a closed-door meeting, the ethics commission found probable cause to charge Grieco with two counts of violating a Miami-Dade County charter provision that prohibits municipal officials from “knowingly furnish[ing] false information on any public matter.” The commission also said Grieco broke a Miami Beach ethics ordinance against soliciting city vendors for campaign funds.

Hot Take: I agree Barack. Let's see. The Affordable Care Act made healthcare more expensive. Cash for clunkers made used cars less affordable. Your tax increases and record regulations on business led to you becoming the first President to never have even one year of average, 3%, economic growth. North Korea started lobbing missiles around Asia threatening to nuke the US, ISIS had conquered much of Iraq and Syria becoming a global threat in the process. The Muslim Brotherhood you called on to rise up did and the terrorists that they are continue to wage war all throughout Africa. You decided to topple Lybia's leadership allowing the Islamic terrorists to capture it as well but only after your administration ignored the calls for protection in Bengasi that you let die, while going to bed during the attack on our embassy. You then let your administration frame a crappy year old YouTube video maker for the attack and ruined his life. I do believe in facts Barack. The facts are that based on your record if it weren't for a complicit news media – you wouldn't just be taking cracks at our current President from outside the country. You'd be too ashamed to come back to the one you were elected to lead.
