Palm Beach County is one of many around the state where evacuation orders have been put into place ahead of Hurricane Dorian.
Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says that he's been assured from the top federal official that help is on the way.
"I actually talked to President Trump on my way over here. He called me on my cell phone to say that he was watching what was going on and if we needed any additional resources or there was anything that I needed, that I can certainly call him."
Bradshaw says it appears as though most of the residents in his county are heeding those evacuation orders.
