Trump’s a Target & Ramaswamy is One to Watch – Top 3 Takeaways

Trump’s a Target & Ramaswamy is One to Watch – Top 3 Takeaways – July 19th, 2023

  1. Trump’s a target. There is consistently one person the federal government is interested in investigating, illegally surveilling and throwing the book at. No, it’s not the man who had a crackhead son who miraculously became a board member for a corrupt Ukrainian energy company which paid him millions. No, it’s not the man who as Vice-President, with Ukrainian oversight, then demanded the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor investing the corrupt energy company his crackhead son worked at – or Ukraine’s government would lose out on over a billion dollars in US assistance. No, it’s not the guy whose crackhead son then became “business partners” with Chinese Communist Party Controlled entities which paid him millions. No, it’s not the guy who was listed as “the big guy” who got a cut of the action of the Chinese Communist payouts which correspond to actions taken as Vice-President by “the big guy”. Why after all would the federal government be nearly as interested in those obvious acts of criminal activity and potential treason by the current President of the United States, when there’s another conspiracy, they can attempt to get the former president on. That’s far more important, isn’t it? So yes, yesterday we learned that Trump’s officially a “target”. Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, who’s clearly set his sights on getting Trump, I mean justice, sent a letter informing the former president and current leading Republican Presidential candidate, informing him that he’s a “target” of his ongoing January 6th investigation. The legal term “target”, of which Trump now is for a third time within in year having been indicted twice already, means that a prosecutor and/or grand jury are alleging to have substantial evidence linking that person to the commission of a crime and who is a putative defendant in the view of the prosecutor. So, Jack Smith’s saying in so many words, that...
  2. An indictment is almost certainly coming and that they believe they’ve got the goods on Trump to tie him directly to the January 6th, 2021 riot at the Capitol. It could also mean he simply intends to bring the case in the D.C. court where a jury would be likely to convict Donald Trump for breathing air and being orange if he were charged for doing it. In that instance little more than stock J6 Committee footage would do. No, Joe Biden and his admitted criminal crackhead son aren’t the targets of the Merrick Garland led DOJ. No, the rouge actors in the FBI and DOJ who falsified FISA warrant requests and created the entire bogus Trump-Russia collusion narrative aren’t targets. No, the rouge actors in the FBI who verified Hunter Biden’s laptop as legitimate many months in advance of the presidential election, buried the evidence and then regularly briefed media companies to be on the lookout for Russian disinformation – ensuring the censorship of that information, aren’t the targets of the DOJ’s investigations. No, there’s no targeting of then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for refusing National Guard support that then President Donald Trump was ready to authorize to assist the Capitol Police to protect the capitol against potential violence on January 6th – as intelligence in advance of the day suggested was likely. Nope, no targeting of D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser who likewise refuted the Trump authorized assistance from the National Guard. Nope, the only target is the man who now knows just how deep that swamp water is and the extent of the action that’s required to have it fully drained. So now Trump’s been given four days to report to a grand jury which means a third indictment could be just around the corner. And unlike the other indictments – given the seriousness of the charges if they are brought – that Donald Trump could be an “insurrectionist” - it could mean that the prosecutor will seek to jail him until his trial. Given what we already know about the current president and his son, let alone the rest of the conspiracies against Trump and directly in favor of the Bidens, the two-tiered system of justice in this country is threatening to rip it apart from the inside. That is the only way this country can be defeated. And should this happen, that Trump’s jailed without a trial leading up to an election, that’s an action that’s potentially far more dangerous for the stability of this country than anything that happened on January 6th, 2021. Trump’s a target, but what this country is supposed to stand for – equal justice for all – has been targeted too. That clearly doesn’t exist in Joe Biden’s America under Merrick Garland’s Justice Department. In other news...
  3. Ramaswamy is one to watch. Six months ago, you’d never heard his name. Six months from now, he just might be the name this side of Trump to watch in Republican primary circles. A classic example of what he has to offer was on display yesterday in response to the news of Trump’s targeting. But first here is what other GOP Presidential candidates had to say: Ron DeSantis - I can tell you one of my jobs as president will be to end the weaponization of these agencies. I will get that job done. And to CNN’s Jake Tapper he said: I wanna focus on looking forward. I don’t wanna look back. I do not wanna see him – I hope he doesn’t get charged. I don’t think it’ll be good for the country. But at the same time I’ve gotta focus on looking forward, and that’s what we’re gonna do. Nikki Haley - That's why I am running, we need a new generational leader. We can't keep dealing with this drama, we can't keep dealing with the negativity... We can't be sitting there focused on lawsuits over and over again. Asa Hutchinson (a presidential candidate in name only) I have said from the beginning that Donald Trump's actions on January 6 should disqualify him from ever being President again. But then you have Vivek Ramaswamy...here’s what he had to say. This (potential indictment) under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment could disqualify President Trump from either running for U.S. president or potentially even being removed as U.S. president if he is elected. Either sets a dangerous precedent here. Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that anyone who’s taken an oath to office — a congressman, a senator, a president, can be removed from office or disqualified for running for office if they’ve also engaged in an insurrection against the United States. So if it is held that President Trump did play a role in an insurrection against the U.S., that disqualifies him from being U.S. president under the 14th Amendment. I do not want to see my opponents eliminated because of the actions of a corrupt federal administrative police state. There’s just a little bit of a difference isn’t there? The man’s just that sharp. And people are starting to take notice. In national polls Ramaswamy in three months has gone from nearly no measurable support, a la Asa Hutchinson, to currently polling fourth in the Real Clear Politics average of polls and third – ahead of Mike Pence, who was notably quiet on the back of the Trump news yesterday, in the two most recent polls. Ramaswamy is one to watch and the candidate who stands to gain the most from the first GOP Presidential Debate.
