Consumer Reports doesn't release it's top cars for 2012 until March 6th.  Here's the info now:

My Thoughts:  What's old is new again.  Toyota domination.  Toyota takes 5 of the 10 categories this year including big wins for the Camry Hybrid and for the 100th year running (or at least the 11 it's been sold in the US) - Prius.  The only two American cars that won their categories were the Ford Mustang and Chevy Avalanche.  This is all the more important right now as many are looking toward fuel efficient vehicles again with the rising gas prices.

Real time updated Delegate tracker:

My Thoughts:  As predicted Mitt Romney won a close race in Michigan and won big in Arizona.  More importantly as I type this Mitt Romney picked up 40 delegates last night to Rick Santorum's 11 (8 Michigan delegates have yet to be awarded).  As much as people talk about this as a style and momentum contest - make no mistake it's about delegates.  To that end Romney now has a near 2 to 1 lead over Santorum who's in second place (163 to 83).  There is still a long way to go to win the nomination (1144 are needed for the win) but Romney is certainly is a good position for all of the talk to the contrary.  As everyone points to Super Tuesday next week - one reminder...  We still have one stat before next week, Washington on Saturday, which actually has more delegates at stake (43) than either Michigan or Arizona.

Several Brokerage firms are delayed in getting their investors tax information for filing:

My Thoughts:  Big firms like Charles Schwab, Well Fargo and Sharebuilder are among those that did not meet the Feb. 15th deadline of getting you tax info so you can prepare and file your taxes.  This is a potential issue for two reasons.  1.  If you're set to receive a refund you're going to have to wait to file to receive it.  2.  If you're using 2011 income for obtaining a loan.

The iPad 3 announcement and iPad 2 price drops:

My Thoughts:  I will come to your home and issue lashings to you if you pay full price for an iPad 2 anymore.  Best Buy and Radio Shack are among companies that have dropped the price on the iPad 2 by $50 and once the 3 is on store shelves the price drop will likely be bigger.  As for the 3...  Quick pat on the back as I identified March 9th as the likely day of iPad 3 orders (came pretty close).  With the iPad 3 event on March 7th you'll be able to order it within the next couple of weeks.

Twitter Ads coming to your Smartphone tweets:

My Thoughts:  Ads coming to iPhones and Android phone tweets.  So the next time you announce you're hungry - it just may be brought to your followers by IHOP.

Twitter to sell the history of your tweets to a third party:

My Thoughts:  Ahh yes...  Pt. 2 of the Twitter revenue enhancement plan.  And yes - they can do it and you even agreed to it.  All part of the user agreement that no one ever reads...
