I was prepared to write a full blog post today, but after watching Frances and her analysis, I figured, which would you rather look at...my rants or her?

Here's my pick for this weekend's home opener against the Oakland Raiders: Dolphins 23 - Raiders 20.

Miami beat them last year at Sunlife Stadium, and Oakland travels down to Miami for a 1 p.m. game, which is like 10 a.m. for them.

It's also going to be hot on Sunday, and Oakland will be wearing their black jerseys. Contain Darren McFadden and the Dolphins can get one in the win column.

Interesting to note: The game will be televised on CBS 12, because the team guaranteed they will unload any tickets that don't sell before kickoff.

Members of the 1972 Perfect Season Dolphins will be on hand at the stadium gates, giving away Perfect Season hats.
