After losing at home to a New York Jets team that was asking to be beaten, the Miami Dolphins go on the road to face an un-beaten Arizona Cardinals team.
During their trek to 3-0, the Cardinals have beaten the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots, and yes, Brady showed up to play.
What am I missing? Wasn't Arizona a pretty bad team last year? Kevin Kolb didn't appear to work out, so they started quarterback John Skelton in his place to open the season. Skelton gets hurt and Kolb gets back on the field and they are undefeated.
Let's not forget that this is the team of wideout Larry Fitzgerald. Looking at the numbers, Kolb appears to be doing just enough to "manage the game" and not cost his team a loss.
In last Sunday's game, Arizona finally found a running game, with Ryan Williams posting more than 80 yards on the ground.
It's their defense, however, that's keeping the Cardinals in their games, with a chance to win. They held Michael Vick and the Eagles to 6 total points.
This defense is why rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill should be concerned. He hasn't looked horrible this season (considering he is a rookie), but is far from spectacular.
A little Reggie Bush would go a long way in getting a win in the desert. Bush has said he feels okay and boasts that he received some great news, though he hasn't said what that is.
Dolphins fans hope the news is that Bush is good to go on Sunday, which is a 4 p.m. game, by the way.
Head coach Joe Philbin is bringing the team to Arizona on Friday, instead of the usual Saturday arrival, to help get the team acclimated early.
My pick is coming on Friday. I'm sure we'll get Franny's pick as well.
