Every Friday, Brian Mudd likes to take a look at President Obama's re-election odds. He's also taken to looking at the outcome if the election were held today...a head to head between Romney and Obama if you will. While Brian's re-election odds to date show the president with a good chance of being re-elected, the head to head shows Romney winning if the election were held today.

Now let's take a look at Colorado University professors Michael Berry and Kenneth Bickers. They have a fancy computer that's said to have picked the presidential winner in every race since 1980. This one tackles the Electoral College, not the popular vote. And this will not be good news for Liberals.

Back in August the professors predicted Romney would win the race running away. Now they're saying the news is even better for Romney. Their computer is now predicting that Romney will win 330 of the electoral votes with the President taking just 208. You need 270 to win.

As a Liberal, I have to hang onto Brian's story about the President's chances for re-election. I'm not so enthused with these college professors. By the way their computer program hangs mostly on jobs and incomes to help make the prediction, but it didn't include the September jobs numbers and whether you believe them or not, they are still numbers that go into a computer to help predict outcomes and those numbers haven't been added yet by the professors.
