Let's take a look:

Of course  the commercial always said "Things GO Better With Coke." But in this case we're talking about moving, not going. That's moving as in your gastrointestinal system.

A new study out of Athens University says the bubbles and acidity in Coca Cola help alleviate stomach blockages. Researchers at the Medical School of Athens University studied 46 patients with stomach blockages. The patients have been treated with Coke in hospitals over the last ten years. If a stomach blockage isn't removed or destroyed, it can lead to bowel obstruction.

The success rate with Coke is so great, 90%, that doctors now routinely use it as a treatment. Coke provides an alternative treatment for those not wanting surgery or laser treatment.

The acidity apparently breaks up or reduces the size of the stomach blockage and the bubbles move them along through the system more quickly.

So it appears things do MOVE better with Coke.

Conclusion: Fact

Brian Mudd is a big Coke fan. Maybe that's why I never hear him complain of stomach problems. Speaking of which, Brian has some really great information on his Cheat Sheet so check it out here:
