Cops say 59 year old man poured gas over victim and set her on fire at a Boynton Beach 7-11.
A 40-year old woman is being treated for burns after being set on fire at a Boynton Beach gas station. Police say 59 year old Roosevelt Monesir poured gasoline on the victim in what is described as a domestic incident at a 7-11 at Hypoluxo and Lawrence Roads. The woman became engulfed in flames. Officers put out the fire and she was rushed to Delray Medical Center. The gas station was closed for a couple of hours after the overnight incident. Monesir was taken into custody and is being treated for burns at Bethesda Memorial Hospital.
