Press Secretary Ben Labolt discusses hot topics for upcoming presidential election.
Mitt Romney made his way through Florida on Tuesday, opening up campaign offices throughout the state. Meanwhile, President Obama's press secretary Ben LaBolt called in to discuss certain issues that will have a major impact on determining which of the presidential candidates will win the state's 29 electoral votes in this year’s election.
Some of the things LaBolt discussed include small businesses, where he pointed out that Romney made promises back in 2002 while running for office in the state Massachusetts regarding small business owners. Labolt says that the smaller businesses steadily declined after Romney took office, and he also stated that since Obama took office, the number of small business owners has increased.
He also says Obama has passed eighteen tax cuts that have allowed employers to hire more people in general and in particular more veterans. Another of the hot topics is healthcare costs.
LaBolt was quick to point out that 6 years ago Romney agreed with the so-called "ObamaCare", but now that he is running for President he would kill the healthcare reform in his first day in office.
