We spoke with one of the reported top choices for presumptive republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's running mate about his chances to be Vice President, President Obama's visit to Florida and what this country needs to turn the corner.

"Governor Romney's got a great field of Republicans and Conservatives to pick from", naming Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Ohio Senator Rob Portman and New York Governor Chris Christie, "I think I can best help him in other ways and just feel strongly that he has the best vision to get this country moving." Pawlenty adds that anyone who would be asked to be VP would be honored and he would not turn it down.

As for President Obama, Pawlenty says he has disappointed small businesses and others in Florida, and around the nation, with "broken promises and bad results", saying it's time to say "he's had his chance, it's not working", and now we're going to give Romney a chance to move this country in the right direction.

"Fancy speeches don't pay people's mortgages, and they don't pay our health insurance premiums and the country's hurting". He says we need "serious people" who are going to get things done.
