The jobless rate in Palm Beach County inched up by more than half a percentage point in June.
Treasure Coast Counties also rose, experts saying the non-seasonally adjusted local figures are reflective of a slow summer season in South Florida.
Statewide, the unemployment rate remained stagnant at 8.6% for the second straight month in June. Only 9,000 jobs were created.
