A lawsuit has been filed in PBC's top prosecutor race.
Republican candidate Dina Keever is being sued by her former campaign manager, who is seeking $4,000. The lawsuit was filed last week by Margi Helschien.
Often times these suits are filed by opponents or members of the opposite political party, but in this case it's from a fellow, high-ranking member of the local GOP.
Helschien is President of the Boca Raton Republican Club and Vice Chair of the Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee. Keever proposed revising Helchien's responsibilities and cutting her pay from $4,000 per month to $1,000.
Helschien declined and instead gave a 30 day notice. now, she wants the $4,000 for her final month of work.
She says she is not trying to undermine Keever's race against democrat Dave Aronberg and independent candidate Robert Gershman, calling the suit a business decision.
