National Night Out event being held Thursday
The city of Palm Beach Gardens will be trying to "take a bite out of crime" Thursday night. The city's police force and Police Foundation will host a "National Night Out" against crime from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is being held in conjunction with Gardens Summer Market Nights, at the municipal complex on Burns Rd. Police vehicles will be on display, along with crime prevention tips and bring the kids because McGruff the Crime Dog will be there as well.
