Assistant Palm Beach County Administrator Jon Van Arnam, who is working out of the Emergency Operations Center, wants to get the word out about help that is available for area flood victims.
At least 100 homes in The Acreage have water inside, and hundreds more open their front door to a river in their yards. Many streets are still flooded, too.
People who can't get out of their homes and that are in need of medical assistance, food, or water, should call 561-712-6400.
The County is also going door to door in the neighborhoods affected to see if residents need help with anything as well.
