Law enforcement officials say no rules were violated in pics taken 7 years ago.

Some members of the local law enforcement community are under fire by some after appearing in several compromising photos.
Both the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the West Palm Beach PD say the officers and deputies in photos holding an unidentified partially nude woman on a golf course are not officially breaking any rules.
The snapshots were taken seven years ago, at a country club in Lake Worth, but were published on the website PBSOTalk.com this week by a disgruntled former Sheriff's deputy. The site has a link to the photo gallery, featuring the words "Cops and Hookers".
The site is run by former deputy Mark Dougan, and it is overtly critical of Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and the agency itself.
Among the men in the photos is PBSO Major Robert VanReeth, who oversees the Sheriff's Internal Affairs division. Van Reeth's nephew, a West Palm Beach cop, is also in the pics, along with fellow WPB police officer Lou Penque.
While the motives of Dougan releasing the photos is being questioned, there is no ongoing investigation into the officers' and deputy's actions. That's because they were off-duty, on a private golf course and not wearing any agency apparel.
No complaints were ever filed about what is depicted in the photos.
