There's a new exhibition opening at the Norton this week.
It's called "Keep Calm and Carry On: World War II and the Britis Home Front, 1938-1951. It's partially about British families, dealing with and getting over the wounds from the second World War.
While we already have a better idea of how Americans dealt with the war here at home, this should give us an idea of how the folks "across the pond" had to overcome a lot as well.

"Keep Calm and Carry On" opens on Thursday, November 1 and runs through January 20th.
