Still current U.S. Congressman Allen West continues to request recounts.  The latest news has his two attorneys requesting that the Supervisor of Elections in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties conduct full machine recounts in the District 18 race.

He is blaming "irregularities" in St. Lucie for the loss of hundreds of votes during a partial recount of early votes, which occurred late on election night.

West is currently 249 short of an automatic recount.  The lead for his democratic opponent Patrcik Murphy has a lead in the race of just 0.58 percent.  If that number was o.50, West would have been entitled to the automatic recount.

Auditors from the state Division of Elections are in court with a judge and lawyers from the republican congressman.

West tells us he wants something to get done as soon as possible.  "Instead of sitting around speculating lets have a full recount of early voting because that seems to be where the problem came from".

I asked West how Murphy could come virtually out of nowhere, politically, and catch so much of the vote.  He said "Well, when you look at the fact i wasnt running against Patrick Murphy". " I was running against the entire Democratic party".
