If you ever wanted to meet former Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, this is your chance.
He and his wife are in PBC Friday evening for a book signing event, at the Palm Beach Gardens Barnes & Noble at Legacy Place.
The event begins at 7 p.m., and you can get your copy of their books signed and say hello to the couple.
We spoke with them before the event.
The Election (Newt): "Well I'm very very surprised I thought Romney would win, I said so publically and said he would win and I was wrong." He continues, "Our model somehow is very flawed, and it's going to take four to six months to sort it out and understand it." He says there's no truth to some pundits speculation that the GOP could someday disappear.
Hope for the Republican Party (Newt): "I think within six months we will have a better strategy for 2014 and 2016".
There's a message behind the children's book "Land of the Pilgrim's Pride" (Calista): "Im doing this, in part because many of our schools are not teaching American History, especially to our younger children".
