The movie is based on prosecutor Jeff Ashton's book, "Imperfect Justice," and will air Jan. 19, at 8 p.m.
Lowe plays Ashton and the story is told through his point of view.
Elizabeth Mitchell from "Lost" will play the role of prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick, and Oscar Nunez from "The Office" will star as defense attorney Jose Baez.
