Traffic Death Closes Parts of the Turnpike

Drivers are recommended to use I-95 instead

Drivers are being encouraged to use Interstate 95 instead of Forida's Turnpike today, as details are still emerging on a traffic accident resulting in the death of a woman on just after 5 AM this morning.

The Palm Beach Post is reporting the southbound lanes on Okechobee Boulevard, remain closed, in addition to the southbound entrances located at Okeechobee Boulevard, PGA Boulevard, and the Beeline Highway.

The accident occured when the driver of a red pick-up came into contact behind the woman driving a Mazda.
