Avoiding that Hangover

Tips from the experts on what you can do to avoid or treat hangover symptoms after your New Year's partying.

Too many drinks of champagne toasts on New Year's Eve could leave you feeling rough the next morning.

If you want to avoid starting 2013 with a headache, experts have some tips:

1) Before a night of partying, eat a big meal and drink lots of water.

2) If you don't plan ahead, and you wake up with a headache, drink some fruit juice.  The fructose helps to minimize hangover effects by getting rid of the toxins faster.

3) Of course, experts say the best way to avoid a hangover is to limit your drinking on New Year's.  Good luck.
