The mayors of Boynton Beach, Lake Park, Mangonia Park and Riviera Beach plan to present their proposal, along with a petition, at the school board's January 16th meeting. but already, newly elected board member Michael Murgio says metal detectors would not have prevented the Newtown, Connecticut attack.
