Two weeks of events for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure kick off Friday night, when the Royal Park Bridge, also known as the middle bridge, will be lit up with pink lights in honor of the fight against breast cancer.
The lighting ceremony is open to the public and the mayors of both West Palm Beach and Palm Beach will be in attendance at the Chapel by the Lake along South Flagler Drive.
You can park in the reserved area in the south lot, marked by pink balloons. It's right next to the intracoastal.
The bridge is expected to be lit up at 6:25 p.m.
Several events will be going on over the next two weeks, including a Perfect Pink Party Gala. It all commences with the Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure along the West Palm Beach waterfront on Saturday, January 26th.
