If you're taking a flight out on Friday through the weekend, check with your airline before heading to the airport.
An expected blizzard, already being called "historic" by The Weather Channel on its website, in the northeast is causing cancellations across the country.
There are several at Palm Beach International Airport involving cities such as New York City and Boston. More cancellations are expected as the day rolls on.
As much as two feet of snow is expected in the New England area and at least a foot of sno is expected in New York.
