A local man who made it to the Top 40 on "American Idol" will perform.

If you have a hankering for some cotton candy, corn dogs and perhaps the Ferris Wheel, the Martin County Fair opens Friday at the Martin County Fairgrounds in Stuart.
Entertainment this year includes the Sea Lion Show, Miss Martin County Fair Pageant, the Lumberjack Show and an "American Idol" contestant from season 10.
Jorge Gabriel made it to the Top 40 on the show two years ago. The West Palm Beach resident will perform on the final night of the fair, Saturday, February 16th.
