Hackers break into the Emergency Alert System and broadcast zombie warning on tv station.
Regular programming was interrupted Monday on a CW affiliate in Montana.
Hackers apparently broke into the Emergency Alert System, or EAS, and broadcast an audio warning that "dead bodies are rising from their graves".
The local tv station has released an apology, saying the message did not originate from KRTV, and there is no emergency. An investigation is underway.
