We reported during the Morning Rush that Tiger Woods has decided to play in the Honda Classic this year.  There are now reports that he has indeed announced his committment to playing in the tournament at PGA National.

He boosted attendance at the event last year after announcing that he'd play for the first time as a pro (he played as an amateur golfer).

Woods wound up coming in a close second to Rory McIlroy, losing by two strokes.

Having the number 1 and 2 golfer back at the Honda Classic ensures another economic boost for the tournament and the entire community.  People come from other states to watch the Classic and they spend money while they're here.
