Sergeant Scott Pascarella of the Jupiter Police Department confirms that a search warrant is being executed at the home of Kay-Lynette Roca at 285 Golfview Drive in Tequesta, as part of an "ongoing criminal investigation."
Roca was one of at least five employees at Safe Harbor animal shelter that were recently fired.
Roca had been serving as Executive Director of the facility for years.
When asked if she ever failed to follow regulations when spending donation dollars, Roca said, "No. Anything that I do, I do through my board of directors. "You don't get to where I've been in 28 years doing things underhandedly or secretly."
