President Obama's visit earlier this month cost taxpayers nearly $80,000. That's about five times more than his visit here during his September campaign.
Obama stayed and played golf with Tiger Woods at the Floridian, which has a Palm City mailing address, but most of the course is located in St. Lucie County.
According to the new figures, the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office had the most personnel involved in the President's security detail, more than 80 deputies were used. in Martin County, about 30 deputies were used for the golf outing.
The President arrived on Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport, so more costs may have been incurred in Palm Beach County.
