West Palm Beach City Commissioner Shanon Materio, appointed last year to fill in for longtimer Bill Moss after his death, has defeated Gregg Weiss.  She'll serve the final year of Moss' term. 

In Boynton Beach, it's "Meet the new boss.  Same as the old boss." Two-time former Mayor Jerry Taylor, who served from 1995 to 1999 and again from 2003 to 2010, has won back his old seat.  He beat out City Commissioner Steven Holzman. 

A new mayor has been elected in Delray Beach.  Cary Glickstein defeated incumbent Mayor Tom Carney.  City Commission candidate Shelly Petrolia has beaten Kurt Lehman, who had the support of the unions. 

Two men who have been there before will return to the Royal Palm Beach Village Council.  Former Councilman David Swift beat out incumbent Martha Webster.  Councilmember Fred Pinto defeated political newbie Justin Sallenbach. 

Make that a fourth term for Riviera Beach Mayor Thomas Masters.  He beat out challenges by two candidates, Billie Brooks and Shelby Lowe.  In the end, it wasn't even close.

In Palm Beach Gardens, David Levy will return to the city council seat from which he resigned five months ago.  Voters elected him to a three year term.  Levy defeated James D'Loughy, a business attorney who campaigned on a platform of bringing more green jobs to the city.  @

Lake Worth voters said they want to limit building heights in the downtown area and voted "yes" to holding city commission elections in March.  @
