The former John Goodman juror whose alleged actions led to the polo mogul getting a new DUI Manslaughter trial will have his hearing/trial delayed by a month.
Palm Beach County Judge Jeffrey Colbath has delayed a hearing that would have determined whether a former John Goodman juror was guilty of contempt of court.
The judge on Monday ordered Dennis DeMartin to undergo a mental health evaluation.
DeMartin's non-jury trial was supposed to start on Monday. Wellington polo mogul John Goodman won a new trial after being convicted of DUI Manslaughter, because DeMartin admitted to conducting a drinking experiment before jury deliberations.
Colbath has delayed the hearing by at least 30 days so doctors can decide whether DeMartin can stand trial.
