While there have been reports that some companies would be limiting the hours of part-time workers, it would appear that the Mouse is going in the other direction.
The "Happiest Place on Earth" could be getting happier for some employees there who will be promoted to full-time.
Disney World near Orlando is offering full-time jobs to more than 400 workers who have enough hours to qualify under the federal affordable care act.
Disney has more than 24,000 part-timers who generally work no more than 25 hours per week, but they can pick up additional shifts. some have been able to work more than 1,500 hours over the past year, which is what Obamacare defines as full-time.
The legislation requires large employers to offer healthcare to all full-time workers or face penlaties.
